MR. V8 855/7

Mr. V8 855/7 was voted as the 2018 V8 Ranch “Bull of the Year” due to his popularity. Not only is he known throughout the breed globally due to his dark pigmented, stylish, deep bodied, sound structured build but is backed by one of the most proven pedigrees in the breed. His sire, Mr. V8 259/7, was the 2013 Reserve National Champion and one of the most widely used bulls in the USA due to his combination of eye appeal, low birth weight, high growth, and carcass traits. To complete this outstanding genetic package is the dam of 855/7, Miss V8 844/7. She was named the 2015 International Champion among other class and division titles that she accumulated during her successful show career. Not only was Miss V8 844/7 a successful show winner but she combines the genetics of the legendary +Mr. V8 380/6 who sired more winners in a seven year period than any other sire with one of the most proven donors at V8 Ranch, +JDH Ms. Water Manso. At North Forty Ranch we like the show ring accolades but we focus on cattle that have the breeds leading genetics and performance. Mr. V8 855/7 ranks in the top 13% of the breed for the economical traits of WW, YW, Milk, Marbling and Ribeye Area as well as in top 1/3 of the breed for another 5 traits.
