JDH Mr. Marley Manso 309/0 is one of our top herd sires that combines a proven breed leading pedigree, an outstanding phenotype, and an unmatched performance profile. The sire to Marley is the National Champion and global icon +JDH Mr. Elmo Manso 309/4. The impact that Elmo has played on the Brahman breed is impressive and only grows each year with more and more of his offspring proving themselves in the show ring and in the pasture. Although the top side of Marley’s pedigree is impressive the bottom side is as proven as any in the breed. JDH Lady Manso 86/4 is a proven producer as evidence of her 25 registered offspring with many of them being show ring winners and foundation animals for some of the breeds most recognized breeders. Two of her most notable offspring that are also full brothers to Marley are JDH Mr. Dover Manso 400/0 and JDH Mr. Duke Manso 343/0. The proven production of JDH Lady Manso 86/4 should come as no surprise as both her sire (+)JDH Sir Marri Manso 557/4 and her maternal grand sire (+)JDH Mr. Charley Manso are both Vanguard Sires indicating that their offspring perform both in the show ring and in production producing heavy offspring on a regular basis. Most breeders appreciate the pedigree and stout build of Marley but the most discriminating cattlemen realize his breeding value as he ranks in the top 1/3 of the breed for an impressive 13 traits and even with this performance only had a 60 lbs. BW only further adding to his utility. We currently have our first crop of calves from JDH Mr. Marley Manso 309/0 and as you would expect they are impressive! Co-owned with J.D. Hudgins – Locke Division and Lazy J Ranch.
